As the mouse moves over the graphical display a note providing summary information about the cells under mouse cursor is displayed.




While this may be enough to help the user identify the main cause of a difference, more detailed information about the cell may be required. For this purpose the ComplyXL graphical display includes a section that is able to display all known information about the differences between two cells represented in the display.



To access the cell details review

Click on the Show Detail button of the main graphical display



To hide the cell details display

Click on the Hide button of the or the Hide Detail button of the main graphical display window.

Pinning the detail display

As the mouse cursor is moved over the display, information in the cell details section is continuously updated. While this is great, if you want to examine the cell information in more detail you have to move the mouse to the detail display. However as you do the display is updated to reflect the cells under the mouse altering the information you want to examine.

Mmm. To get around this, double-click on the cell you want to review in more detail and the display will be be "pinned" for a few seconds to give you chance to move your cursor.

You can tell whether the display has been pinned by watching the lower left corner of the main display. If the current cell is pinned it will say so and it will be safe to move the mouse.
